The London Project

Welcome to my blog!

Hello and welcome to “The London Project”.

This blog is an experiment in blog journalism and my personal exploitation of different publishing forms. It will be updated on a regular basis from March 17th to April 29th 2017.

But before we hit it off, I would like to introduce myself to you, just so you get an impression of who’s typing all the articles you’re going to find on this blog in the near future.

My name is Leonie Jungen and I study Communication Sciences and British Studies in Germany. I have hopes and dreams of working as a foreign correspondent one day (preferably in the UK), which is the reason why I have set up this little side-project. So far, I’ve spent many holiday trips visiting mainly London and Scotland and absorbing everything that I can about the history and culture of my obsession number one.

Now that I am given the opportunity to work as an intern in London, I decided to cover as much as I can about my life here in the shape of an online blog to improve my journalistic skills and to create something I would always be able to come back to when I want to remember this time.

So please, feel free to explore this blog as much as you like. Comments and feedback are always highly appreciated since I’d love to improve and am always thankful for advices on how to do better. And if you’ve got special interests or ideas on topics you would like me to cover, don’t be shy and let me know.

I hope you enjoy!
